Qualifying Counsellor

Bonnie is a trainee counsellor studying a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She brings a blend of scientific research and compassionate care to her practice through working as an Embryologist in an IVF clinic over the last 10 years. In this role she supported individuals and couples through complex and emotionally challenging situations as they navigated fertility treatment. This helped deepen her understanding of the psychological and relational impacts on people’s lives.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, drawing on different therapeutic modalities to meet each client as an individual. She works collaboratively with her client to understand their own unique experience of life, both past and present, to create a process that feels supportive and meaningful.

Central to her work is the importance of the therapeutic relationship between you and her. Hoping to offer a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental space to allow you to express your own inner world in whatever way you can. She also has an interest in somatic approaches to therapy, recognising the importance of the mind-body connection in processing experiences and emotions. She views therapy as fundamental to an understanding of self, personal growth and exploring change.
